Biographical / Historical
Louise Pernet Bosworth was the mother of Millard Bosworth. She was born on February 22, 1882 in Galveston, Texas. She married Millard Bosworth Sr of Nashville, Tennessee and a graduate of Sewanee. The two ran the Matilda Plantation outside New Orleans and owned the local ice truck. Millard died in 1916 while the family was living in Europe. Louise and their son Millard Jr returned to the US and settled in New York City. Louise died in 1952 in Hanover, New Hampshire and was buried in Nashville. This collection contains cabinet cards, photographs, news articles and postcards from members of their family.
